July Book Club Pick - Tales of a Female Nomad

Hi there!
This month we switched things up a bit and voted between three completely different books than we have voted on all year. The vote is in and I'm really excited to announce the next book! This book is called "Tales of a Female Nomad" and is all about a woman (at age 48) who decides to follow her dream to travel the world. It's a New York Times Bestseller and has great reviews on amazon, so I'm really looking forward to digging into this one.
If you're new to the book club and want to vote on our next book club selection, the vote takes place each month by the book club members on our Facebook group.
From the Amazon description of the book:
“In 1986 Rita sold her possessions and became a nomad, living in a Zapotec village in Mexico, sleeping with sea lions on the Galapagos Islands, and residing everywhere from thatched huts to regal palaces. She has observed orangutans in the rain forest of Borneo, visited trance healers and dens of black magic, and cooked with women on fires all over the world. Rita’s example encourages us all to dust off our dreams and rediscover the joy, the exuberance, and the hidden spirit that so many of us bury when we become adults.”
I have quick links to the book on amazon or audible below:
